In the February 13 segment of Capitol Report on News9, the CBS News affiliate in Oklahoma City, Patrick B. McGuigan discussed the budget squeeze with reporter Alex Cameron.

The general revenue fund shortfall for this year is already several hundred million dollars, and is expected to reach at least $1.3 billion in Fiscal Year 2017.

In other news, the CapitolBeatOK editor reported on an exchange with state Attorney General Scott Pruitt, who told him he intended to re-start the death penalty process 150 days after the multi-county grand jury completes its investigation of the state’s problems with the legal injection protocol and related issues.
