Area residents can observe several large local, high school and college graduations live online that are scheduled to be held at the Cox Center, said Ryan McGhee, Cox spokesman.

The graduations will be available online through a live streaming webcam originating at the convention center, located at One Myriad Gardens.

Those who frequent downtown say downtown visitors still face many detours related to Project 180 road and green space improvements which have disrupted traffic and caused long waits to arrive at downtown destinations.

SMG, the company that manages the convention center, is providing the internet graduation service, dubbed “Grad Cam,” free of charge to benefit friends and family members of graduates who cannot attend the ceremonies. The video can be accessed at CoxConventionCenter.com/GradCam.

Grad Cam will be available for most graduations held at the convention center, including those for Oklahoma City Public Schools, Putnam City Schools, Edmond Public Schools, Moore Public Schools and OSU-OKC.

SMG provides management services to public assembly facilities which include construction and design consulting, pre-opening services, venue management, sales, marketing, event booking and programming.
