The Bishop McGuinness girls soccer team fell 2-1 to Bishop Kelley in last Friday’s Class 5A soccer championship match at the University of Tulsa. In her last match for the Lady Irish, senior Kathryn Perry scored the only McGuinness goal, working from the assist of stellar forward Abbey Akin.

The Fighting Irish of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School are back in their customary spot – battling for a state basketball title.
After cruising through regional play and fighting through a series of tough matches against western Oklahoma teams, the Irish lads now own a record of 20 wins and six losses. They will play Cache at Oklahoma Christian at 2 p.m. Thursday in the opening round of the Class 4A boys’ basketball championship tournament.
