Advertising rates are as follows:
Local Open Rate: $10.45 per column inch
National Open Rate: $11.95 per column inch
Civic/Charitable Rate: $8.50 per column inch
(charitable rate does not apply if managed by an ad agency)
Examples of Local Open Rates Per Insertion:
1/8 page (3 col. x 5.25 in. = 15.75 col. inches) = $164.58; with full color $314.58
1/4 page (3 col. x 10 1/2 in. = 31.5 col. inches) = $329.17; with full color = $529.17
1/2 page (6 col. x 10 1/2 in. = 63 col. inches) = $658.355; with full color = $1008.35
Full page (6 col. x 21 inches = 126 col. inches) = $1,316.70; with full color = $1,816.70
Other sizes may be selected but width must be per column inch
Color Charge: 4-Color Process (full color):
$500 additional cost per full page ad
$350 additional per ½ page ad
$200 additional per ¼ page ad
$150 additional per 1/8 page
$100 additional per less than 1/8 page
Mechanical Requirements - 6 column inch format for The City Sentinel newspaper:
1 column = 2.0139 inches
2 columns = 4.22 inches
3 columns = 6.375 inches
4 columns = 8.55 inches
5 columns = 10.74 inches
6 columns = 12.92 inches
All ads require signed or email verified agreement
Payment required in advance by cash, credit card or check
Client must assure that ad is run correctly and notify newspaper within 1 week of time of issue if error exists.
