OK Democratic Party to Hold Garage Sale June 2 – Reminder to Vote

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – On Saturday, June 2, from 8 – 11 a.m., the Oklahoma Democratic Party will hold a garage sale at their headquarters, 3700 N. Classen Boulevard, in the north parking lot.

The community is invited to drop off their goods at the ODP Headquarters Office now through Friday, June 1, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.  The office is closed from 12:30 to 1 p.m.

Small household items, folded clothing, small appliances, toys and books are welcome. 
Due to logistics, ODP will be unable to accept furniture.

“Remember to vote in the upcoming Oklahoma Primary Election on June 26,” said Angela Allmond, ODP Communications Director.

Friday, June 1, is the last day to register to vote in the Primary Election. Download a voter registration application here.

Voters who are registered as Independents can vote in the Democratic Party primary and runoff elections in 2018 and 2019. Voters who will turn 18 on or before June 26 may register to vote now.

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot (to vote by mail) is Wed., June 20 at 5 p.m. Apply for an absentee ballot online.

The schedule for early voting at the County Election Board where you are registered is:
• Thur, June 21, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Fri, June 22, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Sat, June 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Polls will be open for the June 26 Primary Election from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Runoff Primary Election will be held on Tue., Aug. 28.  The General Election will be Tue., Nov, 6.

The Oklahoma County Election Board is located at 4201 N. Lincoln Boulevard in Oklahoma City.  A list of all County Election Board addresses can be found here.

Ask to complete provisional ballot if you have problems voting at a polling place. After Election Day, County Election Board officials will investigate and either approve or reject your provisional ballot.
