Staff Report

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers are mobilizing to help homeowners statewide remove trees and limbs on private property damaged by the recent ice storm.

Homeowners in need can call one of three phone numbers to request help:

• (405) 443-7583
• (405) 388-6912
• (405) 415-5261

Priority will be given to the elderly, people with disabilities, people with access and functional needs and single mothers.

Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers will conduct an assessment on each property before debris removal begins. Requests for service will be prioritized based on the severity of the situation.

In a release sent to The City Sentinel and other news organizations, Oklahoma Baptist Relief Coordinator Sam Porter said, “Our volunteers are ready to serve anyone in need following all kinds of disasters.”
