City of OKC closures for Independence Day

Staff Report

Oklahoma City government offices will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.

Embark buses will not run July 4, but will run July 3 as normal.

The Animal Shelter will be closed July 4.

Trash pickup service is unchanged.

City-owned community recreation centers, senior centers and gymnasiums will be closed July 3.

Martin Nature Park and Will Rogers Gardens will be open during normal hours, but the Martin Mark Visitors Center, Will Rogers Gardens Exhibition Center and Ed Lycan Conservatory will be closed July 4.

And finally: People who need keys for picnic pavilion or shelter rentals July 3-5 must pick them up by 5 p.m. July 2.
