A marathon, an arts festival and a possible second round NBA playoff game will bring tens of thousands of people downtown on Sunday.

If the Memphis Grizzlies win tonight’s NBA game, the Oklahoma City Thunder will tip off the second round of the NBA playoffs at noon, Sunday, May 1 at the Oklahoma City Arena.

If that’s the scenario, Thunder basketball fans will join the more than 50,000 participants in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon and thousands of art enthusiasts.

The Memorial Marathon begins at 6:30 a.m., Festival of the Arts opens at 11 a.m. and the Thunder game begins at noon.
